Working Title:

Genre: Comedy

Logline: A rabbit witch makes a complex potion in her home only for the end results to be quite simple.

Synopsis: A rabbit witch is in her house concocting a complex potion full of complicated and less than appetizing ingredients such as frog's eyes and spiders. The rabbit reads from a book as she lists off ingredients as she adds them to her cauldron only for the end result to be put into a glass bottle and labeled “fur conditioner”

Week 3


Beat Board:

  1. a book is sitting on a corner

  2. Amelia comes into the room and picks up the book

  3. Amelia opens the book and reads the first ingredient

  4. Amelia reaches for the first ingredient and pours it into the big cauldron in the middle of the room

  5. Amelia repeats this with each ingredient getting more complex

  6. Amelia pours the last ingredient into the cauldron

  7. Amelia reads a spell from the book

  8. Amelia then sturs the cauldron

  9. Amelia takes a ladle and pours the contents into a container

  10. Amelia grabs a paper and puts it onto the container revealing "Fur Conditioner"

  11. Amelia smiled contently and places the bottle along with other potions

Script:

Fade in:

A old book covered in ruins is in shot on a counter. footsteps are heard and Amelia enters the shot, Amelia opens the book with the cover of the book visible to the viewer but the inside out of shot.

soft music plays in the background while the sound of water boiling is heard in the background

" some yarrow"

Amelia drops a herb into a black cauldron in the center of the room

" a bunch of wormwood"

Amelia drops a group of herbs into the Cauldron and the boiling gets a little louder as the wormwood is dropped in.

" spiders silk, where is the spider's silk"

Amelia looks through her cabinets and picks a bottle and pours it into the cauldron and turns back to the book.

" crushed frog legs"

Amelia pours another bottle into the cauldron

" cant forget bat's blood"

Amelia pours a drop from another bottle and the cauldrons sizzle. Amelia turns to the book.

" a little goat's bile"

Amelia grabs a small bottle and pours it into the cauldron then turns back to the book.

" one dragon's eye"

Amelia grabs a round ball from her counter and drops it into the cauldron followed by a plop sound.

" a bottle of snake dung"

Amelia happily pours a larger bottle into the cauldron

" a fishes stomach"

Amelia picks up an amorphous pink blob from her counter and drops it into the cauldron followed by a loud plop and louder bubbling noise.

"and finally, the tears of a child"

Amelia grabs two bottles and dumps them into the cauldron. a loud sizzling is heard.

" and now for the enchantment"

Amelia squints at the book then reads confidently

" Vertere haec potio in saponem"

the cauldron starts to glow a faint color and the bubbling and sizzling grows louder. Amelia grabs a ladle and sturs the contents of the cauldron.

Amelia finally grabs an empty bottle from nearby and fills it with the potion.

Amelia grabs a paper from the counter and places it on the bottle. she then places the bottle on the counter with the label facing the camera. the bottle is labeled " fur conditioner"
